A long, hosted table where evenings are built from ideas — a film, a book, a feeling, an occasion you want to keep.
Two experiences under one roof. Choose your way in.
A Pinch of Salt began at the end of a themed birthday party — Something we’ve always loved organising for our friends. This time a five course murder dinner, set in a 1920’s English mansion. What if we could share this with more people: welcome them into our home, surprise and inspire them with our culinary stories? Something that could become even more dear to me than my pastry business, A Spoonful of Sugar.
This idea has grown into an intimate dining experience, a speakeasy of sorts, hidden behind an inconspicuous facade in a ’30s neighbourhood. Two tables under one roof: one for the evenings guests want to shape themselves, and one for the evenings I shape for my dining club.
The food is always plant-based and you are always most welcome.
